The idea of a product that was entirely ours, to be tasted in the restaurant of the agriturismo and to be offered in the apartments for the guests, led us to produce the first 5000kg of our own grains. This was a big success with our visitors and we were encouraged to start our own production plant. In 2000 the first machinery for production was introduced for processing the products coming directly from our fields. The creation of the uninterrupted path of production (from sowing seeds for animal feeds and grains for flour, etc. right through to the final product) has resulted in even more requests for our products. Our success led us in 2002 to transform all of our production into this start to finish system. The end users of the products became mills, pasta plants, bread makers, industrial agronomists and GDO. |
