…. a dream initiated in 1998 with the conversion to organic agriculture.

The idea of a product that was entirely ours, to be tasted in the restaurant of the agriturismo and to be offered in the apartments for the guests, led us to produce the first 5000kg of our own grains. This was a big success with our visitors and we were encouraged to start our own production plant. In 2000 the first machinery for production was introduced for processing the products coming directly from our fields.

The creation of the uninterrupted path of production (from sowing seeds for animal feeds and grains for flour, etc. right through to the final product) has resulted in even more requests for our products. Our success led us in 2002 to transform all of our production into this start to finish system. The end users of the products became mills, pasta plants, bread makers, industrial agronomists and GDO.
 

Soon it became necessary to modify our production plant to improve the quality of our products to meet the increased demands of these markets. In 2005, using the latest production techniques, we increased our capacity significantly. The demand continues to increase and our production of many grains is not sufficient to meet the demands of the market. As such we are planning the construction of a new production plant that will allow us to process products from a network of farms in the region
